I recycled a vintage black denim jacket to give it new life as this 100% one-of-a-kind statement piece. The jacket is cropped to a length of about 16 inches and features a natural frayed edge. I have also printed and sewn on denim patches featuring various works from the history of art. This is an entirely unique jacket and I will never create the same one again!
Recycling vintage clothing helps keep clothes out of landfills and prevents waste by lessening the demand for newly manufactured products.
Where the jacket falls on your body depends on your size, so please pay close attention to the measurements and don't hesitate to ask any questions (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Jacket is a Bill Blass medium.
Chest measures about 21 inches flat (or 42 inches full)
Bottom opening measures about 20 inches flat (or about 40 full)
From shoulder to frayed hem is about 16 inches flat
Sleeves measure about 24 inches long. These can easily be cropped and frayed if you so choose.
The material is 100% cotton. Jacket can be machine washed, but I would suggest doing so as infrequently as possible and avoiding hot water. Each patch is affixed with an iron-on backing and sewn down for extra security. Bottom pockets are non-functional as a result of being cropped. Jacket shows normal signs of age. Great quality for a vintage jacket, there is some wear on the ends of the sleeves which you can see in the photo of the cuff.
The jacket can be returned, but buyer must pay return shipping. Thank you for checking out this jacket!
